Students at Skyuka Hall watched their hard work pay off Monday as Monarch butterflies traveled through the area.

The lead horticulturist with the Tennessee Aquarium has worked with this school and several others to plant butterfly way stations to help Monarchs as they make their way South. The students spotted just one Monarch, and it fluttered by too quickly to be tagged. The aquarium is also working with the students to tag the butterflies as they travel.
