Good Sunday. Moisture from Joaquin will continue to get pulled in by a low over the southeast. That means another 5"-10" of rain for South Carolina. We will also see a little of that moisture making it into the Blue Ridge, and maybe as far west as Bradley County. A FLOOD WATCH remains in effect for counties east of Chattanooga until noon. This afternoon, the rain chance diminishes for everyone, and we will be left with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 77. Chattanooga has received 3" of rain so far this month. The 2015 surplus is now at about 6 1/2".
Monday we may still see a few clouds hanging around, especially in the Blue Ridge, the rain chance looks to be less than 20%, and our high will reach 80.
We will stay warm and dry all week with highs remaining in the upper 70s near 80 degrees. Skies will be mostly sunny Tuesday through Friday.
Another chance of rain will move in for the weekend. Saturday we may see some scattered showers here and there, and at this point rain looks likely next Sunday.
