Red Raiders react to McCallie's parody video

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA, TN  (WRCB)  --  Baylor's Red Raiders say they have their own video they will unveil Friday after a parody video, produced by McCallie, spoofing the Scenic City's longtime crosstown football rivalry at Baylor's expense, has gone viral on social media.

The near 5 minute long version of a JAY Z and Rihanna song hit Youtube Wednesday, garnering plenty of clicks and talk on social media.

While some of the Red Raiders we spoke to were complimentary about the video quality and production, they reminded us the game will be played on the field, not on the world wide web.

" Very, very well produced, very well produced," says Ryan Parker, Baylor's linebacker and running back. " I thought it was a great video, of course you know it disses us so it doesn't make me happy, but its a very good video."

" I haven't seen the whole thing, saw a couple of clips of it,", says Baylor Head Football Coach Phil Massey, who adds he's not a social media kind of guy. " I haven't talked to the players about it yet , we haven't really discussed it, but obviously it seems like its sort of a hot, hot thing right now."

Friday night's Baylor, McCallie game is Channel 3's Friday Night Football Game of the Week.
