UPDATE: 16-year-old accused of murder to be tried as adult

UPDATE: Juvenile court Judge Rob Philyaw has sent the murder case of 16-year-old Deuntray Kellogg to a grand jury in adult criminal court. 

Kellogg is accused of fatally shooting store owner Wonsik No, whose probable cause of death was a gunshot to the back.


PREVIOUS STORY: The teenager accused of murdering a local business owner may soon find out if he'll be tried as an adult.

Deuntray Kellogg, 16, is charged with the Labor Day robbery and shooting death of 51-year-old Wonsik No. Police say they have "substantial" evidence against Kellogg.

No was found shot to death in his East Side Market on Fourth Avenue in Chattanooga.

Kellogg has since been at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
