Good Saturday. While we may not see the same volume of rain that we saw yesterday, we will still have overcast skies with pop up showers on and off through the day. That keeps temps cool in the upper 60s and low 70s this afternoon.
Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies for the better part of the day. We will see little to no rain, however, with a rain chance of only 20%. Late in the day we may get enough of a break in the clouds to allow temps to climb to 79. Sunday night will be the night of the "Super-moon" (the moon is full and at it's closest point to earth) which will make it bigger and brighter than normal. There will also be a total eclipse of the moon (apologies to Bonnie Tyler). The moon will be totally obscured from 10:11pm to 11:23pm EST Sunday night. Though skies will still be somewhat cloudy, I think we may get enough of a break to view the eclipse. It is at least worth going out and trying to see it.
The rain chance will stay low Monday as highs climb into the low 80s.
We are watching a developing low in the Gulf. It may be the source for more rain by the middle of next week.
