Two police forces pair up for a auction on Saturday

According to Dunlap Police Department's facebook page is teaming up with Sequatchie County Sheriff's office for a public auction. 

The auction will feature seven vehicles and over 160 confiscated and surplus departmental firearms.

Dunlap Police's post said the auction will be held at Dunlap City Hall on Saturday, September 19th at 9 A.M.

The public can preview the items Friday between 1 P.M. and 9 P.M. and Saturday morning between 7 A.M. and 9 A.M. 

Registration will begin at 7 A.M. Saturday. Buyers will be required to profile photo ID (preferably state issued drivers license)
or other form of proof of residency. 

All federal & state firearms laws apply with no handgun sales to out of state residents.

TBI background check fee of $10.00 added per buyer.

Firearm handling fee of $10.00 added per firearm purchased. 

All items to be paid for on the day of the auction by cash, credit or debit. Only credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard or American Express. 

No personal checks accepted.
