3 perfect scores and raw chicken storage issues in food inspections

Posted: Updated:

The good news continues for a lot of restaurants being inspected this week in Hamilton County.

All of the scores again are very impressive with some perfect scores. There were some very high scores among some of the Hamilton County school cafeterias.

There is not a failing grade on this Friday but there is a 79. Remember a failing grade is any score lower than 70.

Mikado Sushi Bar & Noodle House on Lee Highway has some problems in the kitchen. Inspectors found lots of dented cans. They also found raw chicken stored on top of vegetables. The walls and ceiling need a good cleaning and the freezer is in bad shape, according to inspection reports. Mikado Sushi Bar serves up a 79 as a score.

Now to the high score of the week, and it's several to mention, because they tie at 100. Way to go Wendy's on Bonny Oaks Drive. Mojo Burrito in East Brainerd and Einstein Brothers Bagels on Hixson Pike also scored 100. Those employees are taking a lot of pride in their businesses.
