Apparent  domestic dispute leads to an Alabama woman's death

DeKalb County Sheriff's office responded to a domestic disturbance on Highway 227 Crossville in Rhoden town community. 

Deputies arrived at the scene and found multiple victims. One victim Johnny Osborn, 63, of Crossville was apparently cut or stabbed and the other victim Donna Andrews Osborn, 49, of Rainsville had possible gunshot wounds. 

Donna Osborn was transported to Huntsville Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. 

The stabbed victim, Johnny Osborn has been interviewed by investigators, according to police. 

Both victims were married, but estranged at this time. 

Sheriff Jimmy Harris states “this is a tragic incident that has occurred. Domestic violence is a common occurrence in America and in Alabama. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Donna Osborn.”

The investigation is still ongoing.
