Good Wednesday. Grab the umbrella on your way out the door, and make sure the windows are rolled up when you get to work. This morning, clouds will build, and we may see a few sparse showers east of Chattanooga. Late morning and through the afternoon we will start to see more widespread showers and storms moving in from the west. I don't expect any severe weather, but some brief heavy downpours will be possible in isolated spots. The high today will only get up to 84 degrees.
The front will press through on Thursday. As it does you can expect scattered showers and storms, though not as widespread and numerous as I think we will have today. Thursday the high will reach only 81.
Friday and Saturday the front will press through, but stall to our east. That could continue to spin in a few showers or storms mainly east of Chattanooga, but right now I will keep the rain chance low at 30%. Temperatures will continue to cool. The high Friday will be 84, then we will drop down to 77 for a high Saturday.
Sunday will be the big cool down day. The low will drop to about 55, and the high will get only to 75. Skies will be sunny and the humidity will be low.
The first half of next week looks great. Lows will be in the 50s, and highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s with nothing but sunshine at least through Wednesday.
