UPDATE: Two juveniles arrested in Walker Co. robberies

UPDATE: Two Walker County male juveniles, both age 16, have been arrested for robberies at a Kangaroo and Pure Convenience Store according to police. 

The two juveniles were taken into custody on Thursday afternoon and are being held Rome, Georgia, Youth Detention Center. 


PREVIOUS STORY: Police are looking for two suspects in two robberies in Walker County and Chattooga. 

The duo robbed a Pure gas station on Highway 114 in Summerville, GA around 10:00pm.

Police said that the subjects entered a Kangaroo convenience store on Chattanooga Valley Road early Sunday morning and pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.

No vehicle was heard or observed by the clerk. The theft amount was about $70 dollars. 

The same duo is believed to have robbed a Pure Station on Highway 114 in Summerville, GA around 10:00pm Saturday evening. 

The amount of the theft as approximately $1000, police said.
