Good Monday. Your Labor Day is going to be warm and a bit humid. Highs will reach 89 degrees. Some patchy fog this morning will burn off, and we will have partly cloudy skies with a slight chance for an afternoon or evening shower or storm east of Chattanooga.
Our weather will be similar Tuesday. Expect 88 degrees for a high, and partly cloudy skies. Low pressure moving up the east coast will spin in one or two showers or storms east of Chattanooga Tuesday afternoon.
Showers and storms will be likely Wednesday as a front slides through. I don't expect any severe weather, but the rain could be heavy at times in the afternoon. The high Wednesday will reach 84.
Thursday the rain chance will remain high. It will be cloudy all day with the chance for showers and storms existing all day but most likely late in the day. The high will only manage to get to 81.
A few showers may linger into the first part of Friday, but it will clear out late and the high will get to 82.
The weekend looks good, overall. A shower or two may back into the Tennessee Valley Saturday, but for the most part it will be nice with a high of 81 and much lower humidity.
Sunday, we will start out with a low of 60, and climb to 81 with sunny skies all day.
