Good Saturday. The heat and humidity will continue today, though it will be a couple of degrees cooler. Yesterday the high reached 93, I am forecasting 91 for this afternoon. At least temps are going in the right direction. We may see one or two storms during the late afternoon. I can't rule out a stray shower or storm for the start of the Mocs game at 6pm, but anything that does develop will likely be over by halftime.
Sunday we will see more afternoon clouds keeping our high at 88 degrees. The rain chance will be a little higher in the afternoon as well at 30%.
Labor Day looks good overall. The high will reach 87 and there is only a slight chance for a late day shower or storm.
That is basically what the rest of the week looks like until Friday. Friday, a cold front will approach and that will give us a good chance for showers and storms and temps will not get past 80 degrees as a result. Saturday looks like we will see some of the showers and storms lingering into the morning hours then clearing out with the high Saturday remaining at about 80 as well.
