Orange or white? Vols fans will checkerboard Neyland Stadium for the September 12 for home opener against Oklahoma.
The University of Tennessee’s first home game of the 20125 season will have fans seeing orange and white as the Checkerboard Neyland takes place again.

First done in the 2014 game against Florida, the plan is to have different seating sections at the stadium wear orange or white clothes to mimic Tennessee’s famed checkerboard seen in the field’s end zones.

The website, CheckerNeyland.com, helps the 102,455 UT fans at the game determine the color to be worn to complete the checkerboard pattern.
Tennessee Coach Butch Jones confirmed the effort in his weekly news conference Wednesday.
The school board approved Dr. Bryan Johnson's request to establish "Opportunity Zones" to assist with academic improvement.
