Good Wednesday. The heat and humidity will continue to be pretty intense through Friday. This weekend, temps will trend back down to more normal levels and we may even see a few showers and storms heading into Labor Day.
Today, the average high is 87. We will climb to 92 with a heat index of about 95. Skies will be partly cloudy and the rain chance is low, only 20%.
Thursday will be even hotter as the high gets up to 93. I expect a high in the low 90s Friday as well.
For the weekend, temps will trend downward. Saturday will see a high of 88. Clouds will increase through the day, and we will have a few scattered thunderstorms on and off through the afternoon.
Sunday will be similar, only a bit cooler. Look for a high of 85 with, again, a few afternoon storms here and there.
Labor Day will be about the same with a high of 85 and a 30% chance for afternoon storms.
