Good Tuesday. We start the month of September like we would typically start the month of August: hot and humid with little to no rainfall.
Today we will see our high reach 90 degrees with partly cloudy skies. Once again, a stray shower or storm may pop up east of Chattanooga, but the chance for anyone seeing rain today is only about 20%. Tonight we will drop to about 70 for the low.
The heat and humidity will continue all week with highs in the low 90s and lows in the low 70s. Each afternoon we will have a slight chance for a pop up shower or storm, but I certainly would not get my hopes up.
For the Labor Day weekend, We will cool a bit. Sunday and Monday will bring highs back into the mid 80s with lows in the mid 60s. The chance for rain will remain minimal through Labor Day.
