Traffansteadt and Traffansteadt Win The H & J Heating and Air Condition August Night Open C.B.A. Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team of Tim and  Austin Traffansteadt topped the field of 94 anglers catching a 5 bass limit weighing 28.86 pounds to win first place and $2,000.00 in The H &J Heating and Air Condition  August Open Night Bass Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, August 29thth, 2015, out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp. 

Austin said  “ We had one fish at 5:00 a.m. and then we started catching them”.  

Carey Dotson and Rogie Brown won the Denali big fish of the tournament with a largemouth that weighed 7.94 pounds, good for 2 Denali rods and $100.00.

Second big largemouth was caught by the team of David Craft and Stoney Johnson a nice7.70 largemouth good for $100.00.

Shane Frazier, President of Chattanooga Bass Association, said ”Special thanks to H & J Heating and Air Condition for their sponsorship of this event”.

The top Money are as follows:
1. Tim and Austin Traffansteadt 28.86 lbs. $2000
2. Carey Dotson and Rogie Brown 25.18 lbs. $650
3. Chuck James and Brad James 24.80 lbs. $500
4. Adam Dysart and Jamie Copenhaver 23.04 lbs. $400
5. Dusty Elrod  and Thomas Henshaw 22.85 lbs. $300
6. David Craft and Stoney Johnson 22.62 lbs. $250
7. Keith Ellis and Roger Kendrick 22.42 lbs. $200
8. Steve Kite and Daniel Lewis 22.10 lbs. $150
          
The next C.B.A. night tournament will be held on September 19th, 2015, out of Chester Frost Park. This event will be sponsored by Fishing -N- Fun. This day event will start at first light. and weigh in will be 4 p.m.
