Good Sunday. We will wrap up the weekend with some spotty showers this morning. They will taper off late morning, but the clouds will hang around keeping temps in the upper 70s around the area. We will likely see a few more scattered showers during the afternoon. Then they will fade away through the evening, giving way to partly cloudy skies tonight with lows in the mid 60s.
Erika has been downgraded and does not appear to be much of a factor in our forecast next week. We will see our temps climbing through the week. Monday the high will reach a tolerable 83 degrees. Tuesday through Friday will each sport a high of 89 or 90 for an afternoon high. Each day will also see fairly high humidity and only a slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm.
Some moisture from the remnants of Erika may still move in for the weekend. That is extremely uncertain, however, so I will bump the rain chance to about 30% for next Saturday and Sunday.
