MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Middle Tennessee coach Kermit Davis has dismissed Justin Coleman and Jalen Perry from the Blue Raiders for violating athletic department policy.
Davis announced the dismissals Monday without specifying what rule the players violated.
The 6-foot-8 Coleman was set to be a junior forward as a junior college transfer after playing the past two seasosn at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, and the 6-foot-2 Perry was an incoming freshman guard after finishing Ballard High School in Louisville, Kentucky.
Davis now has dismissed three players from the program within the past two weeks. He dismissed senior guard DJ Jones on Aug. 14 for violating department policy.
