GOP candidate Christie to appear on NBC's "Tonight Show"

Republican presidential candidate and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is scheduled to make his first late-night talk show appearance since announcing his 2016 run for president on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” Monday, August 31 at 11:35pm on Channel 3. 
 
This marks Christie’s third trip to the “Tonight Show” studio. 

During his June 12, 2014 visit, Christie and Fallon celebrated Father’s Day with a presentation of “The Evolution of Dad Dancing.” To date, the video has amassed more than 9 million YouTube views.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is executive produced by Lorne Michaels, who is also the executive producer and creator of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” tapes before a live studio audience from Studio 6B in 30 Rockefeller Center.
