Good Saturday. Be aware of some patchy dense fog this morning, especially along the yard sale route and along I-24 heading to Nashville. Temps in the mid to upper 60s, however, make the air feel really nice. This afternoon, skies will be sunny, and we will climb into the low 90s. It won't be an oppressive day, but the heat of the day will be a little humid.
This evening, maybe you are a Chatta-hooligan and heading to Finley for the CFC soccer game? It will start a little warm with the temp still near 90 at 6pm, but it will quickly drop through the 80s during the game, and it should feel fairly comfortable with skies remaining clear.
Sunday, the heat and humidity start to ramp up. Skies will remain mostly sunny with but the high will climb to about 96 with the heat index near 100.
Monday will be even more humid. The high will again get to 96, but I expect the heat index to reach between 100 and 103. Late Monday, a front will press through and bring some widely scattered showers and a few storms. Some of those will linger into Tuesday, but late Tuesday cooler and drier air behind the front will settle in.
Tuesday will reach 90, but Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be sunny and amazing. Not only will highs be in the upper 80s, but the humidity looks like it will be much lower as well. Lows each morning will be in the mid to upper 60s.
