The current applicants are:

  • Tracy Cox, Signal Mountain
  • Amanda B. Dunn, Chattanooga
  • Ardena Juanita Garth, Chattanooga
  • Thomas Clifton Greenholtz, Ooltewah
  • Andrea DeFay Hayduk, Signal Mountain
  • Robert Dee Hobbs, Chattanooga
  • John Gary McDougal, Soddy Daisy
  • Yolanda Echols Mitchell, Ooltewah
  • Stevie Nicole Phillips, Chattanooga
  • Samuel F. Robinson III, Signal Mountain

The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments will interview all qualified applicants starting at 9 a.m. EDT on July 23, 2015 at The Chattanoogan Hotel.

The meeting will include a public hearing, where the public may express any objections to any applicant. Both the interview and public hearing will be open to the public.

The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments is expected to make their selections following the interviews and forward the names to Gov. Bill Haslam for consideration. The Governor can select from either of the two panels.
