Posted: Updated:

UPDATE: 39-year-old Ben Brewer is in custody in Kentucky.

Brewer was indicted Monday on 13 counts for the June 25 I-75 Northbound multiple fatality crash.

PREVIOUS: Channel 3 has uncovered a pattern in the driving record of the man involved in the tractor trailer crash that killed six people.

Benjamin Scott Brewer, 39, has been cited and charged in several counties and states since 1997. Charges range from speeding to failure to produce proof of insurance to careless driving, his most recent charge.

Brewer is employed for Cool Runnings Express, located in Laurel County, Kentucky, where the majority of the traffic infractions occurred. Most have been dismissed.

Brewer has not been charged or cited in connection to last week's crash on I-75 in Hamilton County. He was driving the tractor trailer that hit eight vehicles and shut down the interstate for nearly 12 hours.

Thursday the NTSB said it is still investigating the crash and Brewer's involvement. NTSB investigator Pete Kotowski said Thursday that Brewer was still able to legally drive.
