Renting a bike in downtown Chattanooga will be a bit more expensive starting Monday.
Bike Chattanooga, the city-wide bike-sharing service will see a rate hike effective July 1. The price increase is the first since the launch of the bike rentals three years ago.
Annual memberships will drop in price, from $75 to $50, daily use rates will see a increase from $6 to $8 for a 24-hr Access Pass, and from $12 to $15 for a three-day pass.
Both Annual Membership and 24-hr Access Passes include an unlimited number of 60-minute trips during the period.
Nearly 300 bikes and 33 docking stations around the city make bikes available for rental 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Annual memberships are available at online. 24-hr passes are available at any of the 33 Bike Chattanooga stations.
