Good Friday! A cold front approaches the Tennessee Valley heading into the weekend, bringing cooler weather along with some rain and storms.
: One more hot day with partly cloudy skies and highs reaching the middle 90s in the city. Heat index will be bear 100°. Scattered "hit and miss" showers and storms are expected in the afternoon. An isolated severe storm is possible.
: Scattered showers and storms early, then again overnight with lows in the lower 70s. Isolated severe storms are possible, producing gusty winds, hail, and heavy rain.
: Scattered showers and storms continue Saturday, especially for the first half of the day. Highs will be cooler, in the lower to middle 80s. Skies clear Saturday night and lows fall into the comfortable lower 60s! Sunday looks great with highs in the middle 80s under mostly sunny skies.
: Partly cloudy with highs in the middle to upper 80s.
: Periods of scattered showers and storms with highs in the middle to upper 80s and lows in the middle to upper 60s.
