Good Thursday! High heat, humidity, and storm chances continue for the next few days. Then some relief arrives for the second half of the weekend.
High pressure provides plenty of sunshine across the Tennessee Valley with only a small chance for an afternoon storm. Highs reach the middle and upper 90s with the heat index around 100°. Please stay safe! If you have to spend time outdoors, drink plenty of water throughout the day and take short breaks in the shade as often as possible.
A few clouds remain with muggy conditions and lows in the middle 70s.
The chance for afternoon and evening storms increases as additional moisture flows into the region. Highs reach the lower 90s. Storms fade later in the evening with lows in the lower 70s.
A cold front brings numerous showers and scattered storms Saturday with cooler highs in the middle 80s. Sunday brings mostly sunny skies and lower humidity! Temperatures start in the lower 60s and warm into the lower to middle 80s.
Partly cloudy and warm with highs in the middle 80s.
Tuesday and Wednesday
