UPDATE:  Chattanooga police arrested a juvenile after an overnight shooting and are looking for three others who ran away. The juvenile in custody has been charged with attempted first degree murder.

Police spent several hours before sunrise Tuesday searching the Rossville Boulevard area and into Rossville, Georgia for the suspects.

Investigators think they are responsible for shooting 36 year-old Tarek Baker on W. 41st Street. Police found the Baker in the 3800 block of Fagan Street around 1:45am. He was transported to a local hospital for examination and treatment of his injuries, which police called non-life threatening.

They later discovered a crime scene at 100 W. 41st Street. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

He told police he was shot walking down the street by a black male passenger in a gray Chrysler Sebring who yelled "What's poppin' Blood?"

Two hours later, a Chattanooga police officer spotted the suspect vehicle on Rossville Boulevard about three miles from the shooting scene and tried to initiate a traffic stop.

The suspects instead fled into Georgia where they ditched their car down a dead end road. All four suspects fled from the vehicle in at least three different directions.

The arresting officer pursued one male who was apprehended at the scene and taken to the hospital for minor injuries sustained in the pursuit.

Investigators also recovered three handguns in the area along with shell casings from inside the Chrysler which police said is stolen from Nashville.

Police have not released suspect descriptions yet for the other three suspects.
