CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Governor Haslam is asking for three more potential candidates to replace recently retired Hamilton County Judge Rebecca Stern.

Haslam's office announced Friday he has chosen to receive a second panel of three addition nominees for the vacancy in the 11th Judicial District Criminal Court.

The Governor's Council for Judicial Appointments will hold a new public hearing and submit three new names to the governor. Haslam will then have 60 days to fill the vacancy once he has a list of six finalists.

The candidates previously interviewed by the Council in April but not selected may be re-considered.

The Council initially selected Leslie Longshore, Mike Little and Boyd Patterson as finalists. Haslam interviewed all three this month.

Stern retired at the end of May.
