Good Tuesday. The muggy weather will continue today as the ridge of high pressure continues to pump in lots of heat and humidity with little chance of any rain. I expect a high today of 96 degrees with a heat index between 98 and 102. While one or two isolated storms may pop up, they will be few and far between. Most of us will be rain free today.
We will see the high pressure loosen it's grip a bit Wednesday and Thursday. That will allow for a few more scattered showers and storms during the afternoon hours of both days. It will stay oppressively humid, though, with highs remaining in the mid 90s.
I expect the same Friday, although a front will move in late Friday bringing widespread showers and storms to the area Friday evening after a high of 93.
Behind the front, the weekend will see highs in the low to mid 90s with only a slight chance for a stray shower or storm both afternoons.
