UPDATE: Driver of fatal Hwy. 64 in Polk County dies

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says that the driver of the Chevy Cavelier in Monday's crash on Highway 64, Brent Ledford, has died as a result of the injuries sustained in the crash.
The names have been released of those involved in a fatal accident Monday in Polk County.
It happened around 10:45a.m. on Highway 64. A 2015 Volvo tractor trailer, driven by Behroz Saneie, 53, was traveling westbound on Hwy 62. A 2003 Chevy Cavelier, driven by Brent Ledford, 20, was traveling the opposite way on Hwy 64.
The Chevy was reportedly swerving, according to witnesses, when it crossed the center line and hit the Volvo head-on. A passenger in the Chevy, Blake Millsap, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Ledford was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
The THP report shows that Ledford was allegedly drinking while driving. Charges are pending.
Highway 64 is now reopened after being shut down in both directions in Polk County for a fatal accident.Dispatchers tell Channel 3 the crash, involving a tractor-trailer and a vehicle, took place around 11am.
One person died in the crash.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is on scene and will be investigating the crash.
Traffic was down to one lane to allow traffic to pass. TDOT re-opened the road by about 3:30pm.
