UPDATE: Person shot on Oakwood Drive

UPDATE: Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital to speak with the victim, 19-year-old Ja Darius Conyers in the Oakwood Drive shooting.

At this time it is unclear how Conyers was injured while in his home. 

Conyers could not provide police with any suspect or additional information.  He was treated for a non-life-threatening and released from the local hospital.  

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.  

The investigation is ongoing.


PREVIOUS STORY: Chattanooga police confirm a person was shot at 4634 Oakwood Drive in Chattanooga early Thursday morning. The call came in around 1:40 a.m.  A male victim was shot while inside his residence and taken to the hospital.
