NBC News - The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released photographs Saturday of their children, Prince George and his month-old sister, Princess Charlotte, providing the first glimpse of the newest royal since her birth a month ago.

In the photos, Prince George holds his little sister, and even kisses her forehead.

The photos, all taken by Duchess Kate in mid-May, were captured at Anmer Hall, the country home in Norfolk where the royal couple have lived since Charlotte was born.

Kensington Palace released one of the photos through its official Twitter and Instagram accounts as a way to recognize the hundreds of thousands of followers it gained in the month since the baby's birth.

Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, and the world got its first — and until Saturday, only — look at her when her parents posed for photos as they left the hospital just hours after the delivery.

Princess Charlotte is fourth in line to the British throne, after her brother Prince George, and their father, Prince William, and grandfather, Prince Charles. Her arrival bumped Prince Harry to fifth in line of succession.

Prince George, who turns 2 at the end of July, was only a couple of weeks old when his parents released the first official photos of him.

The pictures were taken by Kate's father, Michael Middleton, on his family's Bucklebury estate.
