Good Thursday. We will see scattered showers this morning with some periods of heavy rain. As we warm to a high of 80 this afternoon, that will change over to spotty thunderstorms on and off through the evening. Some isolated areas could get up to 2" of rain, but about 1/2" to 1" would be a safe bet for most folks.
Tonight through Friday morning will be somewhat dry, then more scattered storms will be on tap for Friday afternoon as the high reaches 83.
The average high is 83 for this time of year. Over the weekend we will shoot up to about 87 both days with lots of humidity making the air feel quite uncomfortable. Saturday won't be a washout, but we will likely see some spotty afternoon storms. Expect the same Sunday, though Sunday night a front will press through bringing more widespread showers and storms Sunday night.
Next week will be somewhat of a broken record forecast. At least through Thursday, next week will sport highs in the mid 80s with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely each day.
