ATLANTA, GA (NBCNewsChannel)---Atlanta Hawks small forward Kyle Korver is out for the remainder of the NBA playoffs after suffering an ankle injury in game two the of Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to the team, the All-Star forward will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a severe high-ankle sprain.
The 34-year old was injured in the third quarter of Friday night's playoff game when the Cavaliers' Matthew Dellavadova collided with Korver while diving for loose ball, rolling over on his right ankle.
Team officials say Korver's ankle was x-rayed after the game and showed no signs of a broken bone.
Officials also say Korver will consult a specialist to see if surgery is necessary.
