This means people who may have trouble seeing can now listen for cues on when to cross the busy street.
It's located at the intersection of Forest and Frazier Avenue on Chattanooga's North Shore.
The man who first brought the issue up in front of city leaders said this was a good place.
The signal uses digital audio messages announcing when the walk button has been pushed and when it is time to cross.
