A medical tent was set up at Erlanger Thursday by representatives from the U.S. Army Medical Program.
Healthcare professionals toured the Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter tent (DRASH) and met recruiters from the medical program.

The DRASH is a specialized tent featuring an operating room for Army surgical teams who are deployed in urgent surgical care environments, from combat scenarios to natural disasters.

The Army team's visit allowed hospital personnel to gain a better understanding of Army Medicine, its many capabilities and the opportunities it offers to those in healthcare professions.
