Reexamined evidence in Kiser case shows he was at scene of Deputy Donald Bond's death

HAMILTON COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - Reexamined evidence in the Marlon Kiser case shows he was at the scene when Hamilton County deputy Donald Bond was shot and killed. In March, Kiser's attorneys asked the District Attorney's Office to have law enforcement to reexamine previously unidentified latent prints from the original investigation.

The prints in question were a finger and palm print taken from Bond's patrol car and flashlight.  Kiser's attorneys asked that those prints be searched against Tennessee's Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) database.  As a result of this request, a previously unidentified print lifted from the driver's side door of Deputy Bond's patrol car has now been matched to Marlon Kiser.
