Burkhart and Hicks Win the Fifth Annual EMS Week Bass Tournament

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team of James Burkhart and Ivan Hicks edged out the field of 106 anglers to win the Fifth Annual EMS Week Bass Tournament. James and Ivan caught a 5 bass limit weighing 21.39 pounds. This tournament was held of Chester Frost Park Ramp on May 18, 2015.

Chris Coffee and Jamie Willis had big fish of the tournament weighing 7.38 pounds good for a nice Yette Cooler worth $600.00.

This bass tournament drew policemen, firemen and EMS anglers from Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Proceeds from these events have provided Christmas gifts for over 9,100 children over the past five years.

Special thanks was given to Parkridge Hospital and Erlanger Hospital for providing food and drinks for the anglers.  Also, a special thanks to all sponsors that made this event possible.

The top five are as follows:

2. Corey Lewis and Jared Burgess, 20.06 lbs.
3. Cody Pelfrey and Jeff Pelfrey, 18.32 lbs.
4. Kevin Lewis and John Ingram, 17.92 lbs.
5. Chris Coffee and Jamie Willis, 16.87 lbs.
