CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The Chattanooga Bass Yakkers held their 4th event of the 2015 CBY Tournament Trail on Saturday, May 16th on Chickamauga Lake out of Harrison Bay State Park.

Twenty-two anglers competed for a chance at winning cash and prizes. The fish were biting and the majority of the anglers caught fish and had their 3-fish limit.

Only 5 inches separated 10th place from 1st place. In the end, it was Josh Revis taking home 1st place with 52.25" in 3 fish. For 1st place, Josh won $225 and a $50 gift card compliments of Caney Fork Outdoors.

Derek Brown came in a close 2nd with 51.25, good for $105 and a Riot Baits bait pack. Derek also caught his personal best bass, a 19.50" largemouth! This fish was the biggest of the tournament and also gave him Big Bass honors, $110 cash, and a PowerTeam Lures Custom Kit.

Mike McElrath finished in 3rd place with a 3-fish limit of 51.00" good for $65 in cash and also the HOOK1 bonus for finishing Top 3 while wearing the HOOK1 Jersey.

In these kayak tournaments the winner is based on total length of a 3 bass limit, which are measured and photographed when caught, and then released.

The Chattanooga Bass Yakkers is a qualifying trail for the Tennessee State Championship, 2015 Kayak Bass Fishing World Championships, 2015 Junior U-18 National Championship, and 2016 KBF National Championship.

The Chattanooga Bass Yakkers next tournament will be on Chickamauga Lake out of Bear Trace ramp on April 25th 2015.
