Wilson and Brindle Wins Truck-n-Trailer C.B.A. May Bass Tournament

 CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The team of Brian Wilson and Tom Brindle topped the field of 90 boats catching a 5 bass limit weighing 29.71 pounds to win first  place and $2,000.00 in the Truck-n-Trailer Open CBA May  Bass Tournament. This tournament was held Saturday, May 16th out of Chester Frost Boat Ramp. 

Tom said “We got off to a good start in the morning catching 2 big ones, then around noon we went deeper and caught 3 more big bass. We caught about 2 limits of fish during the day and were fortunate to get 5 good ones”.

Danny Daniels and Robert Simpson won the Denali big fish of the tournament with a super giant largemouth that weighed 9.31 pounds, good for 2 Denali rods and $100.00.

Second big bass of the tournament was a nice 9.16 largemouth that was caught by Lee Haas and Harold Beavers good for $100.00.

Tim and Austin Traffanstendt were the highest finishers in the youth division.

The top 10 are as follows:

2. Greg Lamb, 25.51 lbs., $900.00
3.  Jayme Copenhaver/Adam Dysart, 24.33 lbs., $800.00
4.  Shane Frazier/Dallas George, 23.47 lbs., $700.00
5. Mike Looney/Chris Grant, 23.15 lbs., $600.00
6. Jared McMillon/J.B. McMillon, 22.94 lbs., $500.00
7. Robbie Moore/Rod Moore, 22.65 lbs., $450.00
8. Taylor Massigill/Trent Huie, 22.65 lbs., $400.00
9. Jon Mantooth/Matt Jenkins, 22.54 lbs., $350.00
10. Anthony Correll/Logan Kokaszka, 22.38 lbs., $300.00

The next C.B.A. tournament will be a night event held on June 6th out of Chester Frost Park. There will be a sign up for this event beginning at 6:00 p.m. June 6th at Chester Frost Park Boat Ramp, with the tournament starting at 8:00 p.m.
