(WRCB) - Good Tuesday. Our weather pattern will be changing quite a bit over the next few days. We start this afternoon. A front moving through is going to usher in cooler air today. We had a high of 90 yesterday. Today will be in the low 80s with sunny skies. We will also see the humidity levels dropping which will add to the comfort level as well.
The cool air continues filtering in tonight as the low drops to 53 under clear skies. Wednesday will be flawless as the high gets to 81 with clear, blue skies.
Thursday will be just as nice with a high of 82. We will see clouds building in late Thursday ahead of our next weather system.
The weather pattern will take another turn for the weekend. We will have good potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday through the weekend. While we could see them developing at any time during the day, the best chance for widespread showers and storms will be during the afternoon and evening hours. Even though we will likely see storms Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I don't expect any flooding as most models are showing 1" to 2" of rain over the 3 day period. Highs will be in the low 80s with lows warming into the upper 60s over the weekend.
Scattered showers will likely start us off next week as well. For the latest, download the updated WRCB weather app. David Karnes
