Good Monday. Today will be a continuation of the weekend with highs near 90 in the Tennessee Valley. An approaching front will give us a chance for a few thunderstorms this afternoon and this evening. They will be few and far between, but any that do develop will have the potential to produce gusty winds and small hail.
Tonight the front will have passed through and cooler weather will slide in. Highs will be in the low 80s Tuesday afternoon with partly cloudy skies. Wednesday will be just as nice with a cooler low of 55 to start the day, and a pleasant high of 81 under sunny skies.
Thursday will be a little warmer, but still nice as the high gets to 85.
Friday, another weather system moves in that will provide us with scattered showers and storms Friday through the weekend. It won't be a washout. Most models have rainfall amounts during those 3 days at 1" to 2". We can handle that, but it may provide for a soggy time of any event you may have planned. Stay tuned as we refine the weekend forecast through the week.
