UPDATE: Three people injured in Cleveland stabbing

UPDATE:  Police have released the names of the victim's involved in Saturday night's stabbing.

Investigators learned the suspect, Vicente Fernandez, had been in a relationship with one of the victims, Crissy Bean.

Twenty-one-year-old Bean, and her mother, 38-year-old Karen Sue Rhodes, both sustained critical injuries and were flown by Life Force to Erlanger.

A neighbor, identified as 65-year-old Dennis Grissom, who was at the residence as well, sustained non-critical injuries while trying to intervene.

PREVIOUS STORY: Police say three people, two women and a man, were stabbed at home off Wynwood Drive Saturday night. Officers were called to the scene around 7:30 p.m. Investigators are questioning a person of interest.

Evie West with the Cleveland Police Department says two of the three people received critical injuries. The two women were flown to a hospital in Chattanooga. The male victim was transported to a hospital in Cleveland. 

The suspect, identified as Vicente Ramirez Fernandez, was interviewed by the Criminal Investigations Division. Fernandez was transported to the Bradley County Justice Center and will be charged with Attempted First Degree Murder.

Police say there were three children inside in the home when the stabbing happened but they were not injured. Police say they are being placed in protective custody.

Police say the stabbing is domestic in nature. The investigation is ongoing.

PREVIOUS STORY: Cleveland Police are on the scene of a stabbing involving multiple victims, according to Public Information Officer Evie West.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Wynwood Drive NW a little before 8 o'clock Saturday evening. West confirms at least one of the victims is in critical condition. She says it is not exactly clear how many people are involved in the stabbing.
