Good Friday! It is a brand new month, and a brand new weather pattern as well. We end April with 9.31" in the gauge. That ranks as the 7th wettest April in history for Chattanooga.
For today, we will start May cool and dry. This afternoon we will see highs getting to about 70 with mostly sunny skies. We will be a little breezy with winds from the north at 10-15 mph.
This weekend looks great. High pressure will build which means a very stable weather pattern. We can expect mostly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday. The high will climb to 78 Saturday, and 80 on Sunday.
Next week we will see above average temps as light southerly winds jack the temperature up into the low 80s to start the week, and mid 80s for the second half of the week. No rain is expected through at least Friday.
