(WRCB) - Good Monday. This will be a cool week. Temperatures this time of year should be in the mid to upper 70s. We will stay well below that each day.
We start with sunshine today and a high of 70. It may be a little breezy this afternoon, but, overall it will be nice. Tuesday looks good with the low starting the day at 48, and climbing to 71 under partly cloudy skies in the afternoon.
Mid week is our only real shot at rainfall. Wednesday and Thursday could produce .25" to .50" of rain as low pressure works it's way toward the northeast via the Tennessee Valley. Our April rainfall total is now up to 9.23". The average this far into the month is 3.47". It will be quite cool both days also with highs only reaching the mid 60s.
We clear back out Friday as the high rebounds to 72. The warming trend continues into the weekend (as does the sunshine) with a high of 77 Saturday and getting up to 80 on Sunday.
