Catoosa Co. Sheriff's Office looking for sex offender who failed to register

CATOOSA COUNTY, GA (WRCB) -

The Catoosa County Sheriff's Office is searching for convicted sex offender who failed to register.

Charles Darryl Akins, 37, is said to be 5'11", weighing 185 pounds with a Superman symbol tattoo on his left arm and a tattoo of the grim reaper on his right arm. 

His last known address was the Cloud Springs Lodge located at 584 Pine Grove Access Ringgold, GA. 

Akins is wanted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

    Chief David Roddy took about two dozen people on a tour of the department's Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC).  RTIC was unveiled back in March. It's a place where investigators can monitor real time cameras, review video footage and store digital data.
