Good Friday! clouds will build through the day with the high reaching 72 this afternoon. Those clouds will produce some smatterings of rain late tonight, but the big deal is Saturday. We are going to have 2 rounds of rain and storms moving through. During the morning hours an upper level disturbance will move through bringing periods of heavy rain and the potential for strong storms. A cold front will press through Saturday afternoon, and bring another risk for severe weather. The Storm Prediction Center has placed an enhanced risk for severe storms on Middle Tennessee and the Tennessee Valley. The main threats with these storms will be localized flooding, damaging wind and hail, and even some isolated tornadoes will be possible through the day. Widespread I expect 1" to 2" of rain with locally higher amounts.
We will dry out Sunday and Monday with temps in the 70s.
We will see more rain showers moving in late Tuesday into Wednesday.
