UPDATE: Two men arrested in stabbing outside Sugar's Club

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -
UPDATE: A second suspect has been arrested in the stabbing that took place Monday night.
32-year-old Jamaul Herman has been arrested and charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault for his involvement in this case.
The investigation is ongoing.
A suspect has been taken into custody for allegedly stabbing a man multiple times Monday night. Chattanooga police arrested Ernest Fitzgerald Carthorn, 50, after he was identified in a photo line-up. Monday night police were called to Sugar's Club and found the victim unconscious on the sidewalk. The victim was taken to the hospital for multiple stab wounds to the upper torso.
Witnesses told police that the victim was hit by a chair but did not see him get stabbed nor the identity of the person that hit the victim.
Upon speaking with the victim, police learned the fight was over a girl and several male suspects were involved. The victim told police that he went outside the club and was hit in the back of the head with a chair. When he tried to get away, he was chased down and stabbed.
Carthorn is at the Hamilton County Jail on a $100,000 bond. He is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault. Chattanooga police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the 800 of Dodson Avenue.
Witnesses tell police that a large fight started outside of Sugar's Lounge.
The call came in to dispatch just after 10:15pm Monday.
Officers found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.
He was taken to the hospital and his injuries are considered life-threatening.
