JASPER, TN (WRCB) -
Police from three departments, spanning two states need your help finding a man they say went on a crime spree over the weekend.
He's also accused of dragging an officer with a stolen car.
The problem is, they have no idea who that man is and hope someone at home will recognize him.
Outside Star Gun and Pawn Shop is where police believe this man's crime spree started.
They don't know who he is, but tell Channel 3 he stole a utility trailer Saturday afternoon.
Employees at the shop say the trailer was locked up next to a sign.
None of the store's surveillance cameras caught a good look at the man, but one of the cameras at the laundromat next door did.
"We have pictures of the suspect when he pulled in, taking the trailer. A picture of the vehicle that he was driving, which wound up to be a stolen vehicle," said Sgt. Scott Evans, Jasper Police Department.
A short time later police say the man showed up at the tractor supply in nearby Kimball where he then took a Zero Turn Lawnmower.
The next day that same man popped up an hour away in Rainsville, Alabama at another Tractor Supply store.
When a police officer started questioning the man, he took off, dragging the officer with the stolen SUV he was driving.
"About 80 feet before he was able to get himself freed. It's my understanding he was minorly injured," said Evans
The officer was taken to the hospital for cuts and scrapes but is expected to be okay.
Police hope someone will see these pictures and help them figure out who this man is before he strikes again.
"If he's going to go as the steps he's done, especially out in Rainsville with the officer, if an average citizen runs up on him, there's no telling what he might do. He may actually run over them or do worse to them," said Evans
Again that man was last seen driving a gray Toyota Four Runner SUV.
If you have any information about who he is or where he may be you can call either the Jasper or Kimball Police Departments.
