CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The Chattanooga Bass Yakkers held their 2nd event of the 2015 CBY Tournament Trail on Saturday, April 11th on Nickajack Lake.

Twenty-one anglers competed for a chance at winning cash and prizes. The fish were biting and the majority of the anglers caught fish and had their 3-fish limit.

Cord Dyer came out on top with a 3-fish limit of 51.50". He also took home big bass honors with an 18.00" fish. For winning and big bass, Cord took home $340 in cash, a $50 gift card compliment of Caney Fork Outdoors, and a PowerTeam Lures custom kit.

Corey Stansifer took 2nd place with a 3-fish limit of 47.25". Second place paid out $110 in cash and a $25 HOOK1 gift card.

Trevor Burnette finished in 3rd place with a 3-fish limit of 46.00" good for $70 in cash and a bait pack compliments of Riot Baits.

Rounding out the Top 5 were Seth Lassitter with 45.25" and Max DeRussy with 43.00".

In these kayak tournaments the winner is based on total length of a 3 bass limit, which are measured and photographed when caught, and then released.

The Chattanooga Bass Yakkers is a qualifying trail for the Tennessee State Championship, 2015 Kayak Bass Fishing World Championships, 2015 Junior U-18 National Championship, and 2016 KBF National Championship.

The Chattanooga Bass Yakkers next tournament will be on Chickamauga Lake out of Bear Trace ramp on April 25th 2015.
