NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The expected announcement of Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign has quickly become a center of attention at the National Rifle Association's annual convention.

Wayne LaPierre, the NRA's executive vice president and CEO, said Friday the powerful gun lobby will "stand shoulder to shoulder" to prevent Clinton from becoming the country's next president.

A parade of likely Republican presidential candidates spoke at a Friday candidate forum, with several taking aim at Clinton's candidacy.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told the crowd that Clinton measures "success in government by how many people are dependent on the government."

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal drew laughter when he said he expects Clinton's campaign slogan won't be "four more years."

Other scheduled speakers included Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Rick Perry and Rick Santorum.
